Chapter 14 - The Agony Of A Lost Love
And she lets a teary smile in between her sobs. And her eyes popped out..
Khushi: Oh f**k!... I'm in love with...
[ BOOM ]
And the bomb blast echoes in the shopping mall. The blast was huge.. Cries of people, crowds running away, people pushing each other, in no time it becomes a violent jostle. Half conscious, Khushi was lying down. Her forehead was bleeding and she was in pain.. As she managed to open her eyes, the scene horrifies her... In front of her, a pool of blood.. lying many injured or dead people. Tears welled up into her eyes as she sees the state of these people.. She tries getting up again and again but in vain. She could see people pushing each other to get out of the building while others crying in distress for their close ones.
Security (shouting): The whole east side is ruined. Please evacuate the area right now!
She looked towards the east area and suddenly.. her body freezes and her heartbeats stop.
Khushi: Arnav!
The tears flow down her cheeks as reality strikes her.. In an instant she gets onto her feet pushing everyone on her way in panick.. Turning around, she scans the whole area. For a moment she sees death, her death in front of her eyes.. She was terrified on not finding Arnav. Her hands on her bleeding forehead, she runs towards the east side ignoring the calls of the security guards. Running, crying his name.. Breathless, she was tired but her steps didn't stop a single moment. She was not ready to give up.. She was losing a lot of blood and she felt weak. Her voice was fading away and she felt her knees giving up.. Her eyes were slowly closing and dizziness takes over.. She was falling but in her half consciousness, from far away she almost hears her name.

She loses control of her body and falls in Arnav's strong arms.
ASR: Kashish.. Kashish... Khushiii..
Reaching on time, Arnav stops her from falling. Holding Khushi tightly into his arms, he was crying out her name in desperation. The worst fear he was going through few minutes ago on not finding her turns into tears while Khushi lies unconscious into his arms..
ASR: Khushi get up...Get up..Nothing is going to happen to you.. breath Khushi breath..
And he screamed out loud.
ASR: I'm telling you to breath damn it.
Angrily he shakes her lifeless body.. But no response.. His cheeks wet with tears..
ASR: No... No.. You can't do this to me... I can't live without you.. Please don't do this to me!
Suddenly he lays her down and leans over her. He gives her mouth to mouth breathing... But this had no effect on her. He hugs her crying out loud, praying to god..
ASR: Please God... Mein uske bina nahin ji sakta.. Please bring her back..
ASR: Please God...I can't live without her.. Please bring her back..
Suddenly his eyes popped out.. He felt Khushi's arms gripping to him tightly as he hears her breaths getting louder. He tries to pull back so as to look at her face but her hold was tight. Her face laying on his shoulders, she whispers into his ears...
Khushi: Mein tumhara saath kabhi nahi chodenge Arnav..
Khushi: I will never leave you Arnav..
He felt her grip loosening and he pulled back. Their eyes met... Raaabaa Veee! They stare into each other for long while words were not necessary. They could feel each other's feelings in that one teary eye lock,.. the pain, fear of lost, Khushi's anxiety, Arnav's restlessness... He had to do it, to reassure himself that his Kashish, his love is still with him.. and in an instant he crashes his lips onto hers...

Few meters away.. Viren stays idled on his feet, staring at Arnav and Khushi kissing each other.
