Chapter 15 - Forever Yours
He had to do it, to reassure himself that his Kashish, his love is still with him.. and in an instant he crashes his lips onto hers...

Few meters away.. Viren stays idled on his feet, staring at Arnav and Khushi kissing each other. He was dumb.. speechless, eyes wide open. Arnav and Khushi unwillingly break the kiss but they had eyes only for each other. Khushi was amazingly surprised.. The love, the care she sees in Arnav's eyes.. She didn't need any words to understand his feelings for her. That's her man.. and he loves her as much as she does .. truly, deeply.. the torture, the pinning.. the thought of losing Khushi was still reflecting in his eyes.. He was crying his heart in front of her. Seeing her blood made him even more worried and angry. He had to let it out.. Khushi was lost in his eyes, in his arms, in their own world but came back from her reverie as she hears Arnav's angry outburst while cupping her pale face.
ASR: What the hell Kashish? How could you run away like this? Mein kitna daar gaya ta..Don't you dare do this to me again!
ASR: What the hell Kashish? How could you run away like this? I was so scared.. Don't you dare do this to me again!
He holds her knuckles possessively and kisses them while she smiled in between her sobs. She forgets everything and unconsciously these words let go of her mouth...
"I LOVE YOU"
Everything freezes.. The atmosphere stop and Arnav's mind was stuck in these words.. "Magical" it was magical.. he's been waiting for these words more than anything and now that it really happened, he feels as being brought into another world. They both looked into each other's eyes forgetting about the rest of the world... Raaba Veee.. Raaba Ve Raaba Ve... He wanted to speak.. to say something but scared.. scared to break that moment.. not wanting to break that eyelock.. But his heart says it. Yes she loves him.. and he loves her.. and this is true love! Once he laid his eyes on her months ago he knew that girl with a glint of naughtiness was his, only his! Khushi's heart was jumping in joy.. She is in love. In love with Arnav.. and no one can take this guy from her.. She promised herself to never fall in love.. but love conquers! No.. Arnav conquers.. He's everything she wished since always,.. the secret dream she tries hard to bury in her heart.. For her, love and relationships result in sorrows and pains.. but Arnav proved her wrong. The happiness.. the feeling being alive in his arms.. When he touch her, she feels different. When he stares at her, she always turns it into a sexy joke but the truth is that she liked it.. She feels special. When he cares for her and caress her hairs, she just wished to lay her head in his lap the same way she used to sleep in the lap of her mother.. All this were just signs of love. But stupid girl.. she kept on running away from this four letter word as she thought if she admits it to herself then Arnav would leave her the same way as her mother did. But this time she is not afraid. She is ready for it. Ready to love and be loved. Ready to fight for her love, for Arnav.. She had so much to tell him.. and as she tries to say something..
ASR: Ssshhh!
He lays his fingers on her lips stopping her to say anything. Khushi looked at him lovingly and he nodded..
ASR: Kashish mein tumse...
(ASR: Kashish I...)
Viren: Khushi.. Khushi...
He stops his words as Viren barged in between them. Both Arnav and Khushi were startled as he jumps to the neck of Khushi in worry. He hugs her tightly while Khushi was shocked.
Viren: Thank god you are fine.. I'm so sorry I'm late!
Khushi was wondering if he had come earlier he'll caught her kissing Arnav while Viren glares at Arnav angrily. Arnav was avoiding his glare and looked the other way as he felt uncomfortable when suddenly he realized that he was still holding Khushi's hands. He lets an hesitant smile and releases her hand. But to his surprise, Khushi tightens her hold not ready to leave his hands. He lifts his eyes towards Khushi and she nods not to leave her. Arnav could see her fear..the shock of the blast.. she was still scared to lose him. Khushi looked towards Viren as he moves away from her embrace.
Viren: Come let's go.. Di & Lavanya are waiting for us at the car..
Viren gets up and helps Khushi to get up. Unwillingly she had to leave Arnav's hand but Arnav gives her a reassuring look which calms her down while Viren looked towards Arnav.
Viren: You ok?
And Arnav nods a Yes absent-mindedly. They finally head off to the car where Payal and Lavanya, worried to death, were waiting for them. As they spot Khushi and Arnav, Payal rushes to Khushi while Lavanya runs to Arnav. Lavanya was relieved to find Arnav safe but Payal panicked as she saw Khushi's state. Tears welled up her eyes as she sees Khushi's bleeding forehead and Khushi reassures her.
Payal: Kahan chale gaye the... Kitna Khoon Behraha Hai..
(Payal: Where Did you go.. So much blood..)
Khushi: Babhi I'm fine.. Relax..
She opens her purse searching for something but Arnav takes out his handkerchief from his jacket and hands it to Payal. She takes it and cleans Khushi's injury while all the time Khushi's eyes were only on Arnav.
Viren: Come on Khushi, Di.. Get in the car..
Khushi walks to the car they came by when Viren suddenly stops her.
Viren: Khushi you and Di are coming with me.. Lavanya you go with Arnav. Ok?
Her heart wishes to go with Arnav. She looked at him with a sad face and Arnav smiled signing her towards Viren's car. She smiled back hesitantly and walks to the car where Viren was standing by the door. He opens it for her and she gets into the front seat. A last glare full of love and the two cars zoom off to the mansion. At the entrance, Anu alongside all the servants were waiting impatiently. Since they got the news from the tv, anxiety has been killing them and when Anu was informed that Khushi is hurt, she was scared to death. And now she is standing at the door rooted to the floor holding the first aid box. As the car reached the mansion, Khushi steps out to be welcomed by a panic Anu. She gets startled when Anu rushes to her and hugs her waist. In between sobs, she managed to scold her hottie in her cute little voice.
Anu: Kahan chale gaye the.. Chot bi lagi hai..
(Anu: Where did you go.. You are hurt)
Khushi smiled at her innocence and kisses her forehead.
Khushi: I'm ok Anu.. Don't worry! Choti si chot hai.. it'll be fine soon..
Khushi: I'm ok Anu.. Don't worry! it's just a small scratch.. it'll be fine soon..
Payal: Fine soon? Chalo andar.. antiseptic lagana hai..
Payal: Fine soon? Let's go inside.. we'll put antiseptic..
Khushi turns to her, eyes wide open in shock.
Khushi: Babhi please.. I don't want antiseptic.. I hate it! You know na?
Payal: Ek bhi nahin soona hai mujhe.. Chalo.
(Payal: I don't want to listen anything.. Let's go)
And Payal holds her wrists dragging her inside the house to the living room. By the time, Arnav and Lavanya also reach the mansion. Arnav gets out of the car and locks the door when suddenly he could hear Khushi crying in pain. On the spot he panics and with big strides he rushes to the entrance. He steps into the living room and he nods in disbelief while he murmurs under his breath.
ASR: Unbelievable!
Khushi was crying loudly because of the antiseptic.
Khushi: Babhi jalega.. I don't want it please..
(Khushi: Babhi it will hurt.. I don't want it please..)
Payal: Khushi bachon ki tara zid mat karo..
(Payal: Khushi don't be stubborn like a kid)
ASR thinks: Yeh ladki puri ki puri pagal hi rehega..
(ASR thinks: This girl will always be completely crazy)
Suddenly her eyes fell on Arnav and unknowingly a smile appears on her face. Payal starts to clean her injury but she was still focus on Arnav.
Khushi thinks: Pata hain mujhe... what are you thinking? Pagal thi, pagal hain aur rahegii.. and that's why you can't live without me.. meri pagalpan ke bina tum nahi rehsakta.. I love you Arnie!
Khushi thinks: I know... what are you thinking? I was, I am and will stay crazy.. and that's why you can't live without me.. You cannot stay without my craziness... I love you Arnie!
They stare at each other and Lavanya passes by Arnav to her room displeased by the way he is looking at Khushi. Viren also looked at Khushi and Arnav and he walks away. Her expressions changes into pain and a silent tear falls down her cheeks as the antiseptic touches her skin. But her eyes were still melting into the deep eyes of Arnav. There, standing in a corner.. For the first time in his life, Arnav felt so helpless. He just wish he could sit next to her and holds her hand sharing her pain. He cannot see his Kashish in pain. His trance broke as Anu snaps her fingers in front of Arnav.. Startled he looked down to cute Anu and bends down to her level. Her hands on her waist, she looked at Arnav with her angry eyes.
ASR: Hey princess.. Kya hua?
(ASR: Hey princess.. What happen?)
Anu: Aap kahan te jab yeh sab hua?
(Anu: Where were you when all this happen?)
Arnav looked at her confusingly.
ASR: Mein... Mein..
(ASR: I...I..)
As he thinks of an answer, Anu extends her right hand signing him to stop while Arnav looked at her in shock.
Anu: Don't you dare... bahana nahi chalega! Jab pyar kiya to raksha karna bhi siko.. Samjhe aap..
(Anu: Don't you dare... excuses will not work! When you are in love you should also learn to protect.. Understand..)
Furiously she turns away not giving Arnav any chance to reply. Arnav was left dumb. This little girl just shuts him off the same way Khushi does..
ASR thinks: what a carbon copy.. Unbelievable!
And he turns towards Khushi where he spots her smirking. After all she knows her Anu. She's definitely not living him alive as her hottie got hurt and he was not here to stop this. Khushi gets back to Payal as she orders her to take complete rest.
Payal: Are Arnav ji aap bhi apne kamre jakar rest kar lije.
(Payal: Arnavji you also go rest in your room)
He nods while Khushi glares at him. Payal helps Khushi get up and guides her to her room. Khushi has a quick shower and steps out of the bathroom. To her surprise, Payal was still here waiting for her.
Khushi: Babhi, you are still here.. Go rest naa.. I'm fine now!
She approaches Khushi in worry and cupped her face.
Payal: No Khushi mein tumhare saath hi rahogi..
(Payal: No Khushi I'll stay with you..)
And tears welled up in her eyes. Khushi realized how she scared everyone. She leans towards Payal and takes her in an embrace. Finally they break their hug and Payal tucks her into bed. After some time she fell asleep and she woke up some hours later, Payal was not here but Anu was sleeping by her side. She brushes her cheeks and takes her mobile. It was 9 p.m. Khushi slept only not to disobey her babhi but the events of the day were so hectic that she really fell into a long sleep.
Khushi: Oh God.. it's already 9.. I slept for so long. Arnav must have been waiting for me. Gosh.. Stupid me!
She lifts the blanket and was getting off the bed when suddenly Payal and Viren enters the room.
Payal: Are kya kar rahe ho..
(Payal: What are you doing..)
Khushi: Babhi please I'm tired of sleeping..
Viren: Shut up Khushi.. You are not getting off the bed till tomorrow. And we also got you food.
Khushi pouts irritatingly and Payal sits next to her feeding her the dinner. She eats silently but her mind was elsewhere. She was desperately wishing to go to Arnav. She misses him. She even ignores Viren as he keeps on talking and joking. In the next room, Arnav was restless. He's been pacing the room since the last few hours. He had to meet her but how? The family has been surrounding her since they reached home. Either it's Payal or Viren.. no one is ready to leave Khushi's room. Around 9, not finding Arnav at dinner table, Lavanya takes two plates of food from the kitchen and heads off to Arnav. She knocks at his door and he opens it instantly. For a moment, he thought it might be Khushi. But disappointment sets on his face as he sees Lavanya instead of Khushi. He faked a smile and lets Lavanya in with the plates. They had dinner and meanwhile Lavanya discusses about the different stuffs they bought at the mall. When she talks about the mall, Arnav shivers. He still cannot forget the fear he felt when he heard the blast. His first thought was Khushi.. He felt his world turning upside down. He searched for her like crazy... and when he finally found her, she was lying silently, unconsciously into his arms. He's been crying her name again and again, begging her to wake up.. but her voice didn't come. Her laugh, her voice, her naughtiness, the crazy things she does.. Without all this his life means nothing.. And then he heard her heartbeats again, when she opened her eyes, when she looked at him with her teary eyes.. he felt getting back to life.. all he wishes was to hold her forever.

Both hearts were craving for each other but they were so helpless.

After dinner, Viren picks the sleeping Anu and brings her to her room while Payal stays with Khushi. They talk for long and Khushi sleeps in her lap. Late at night, when she was asleep, Payal gently lays her head on the pillow and tucks her under the blanket. She kisses her forehead and switches off the light before leaving the room. As she disappears.. a shadow walks from the terrace... Behind the transparent curtains, Arnav stares at Khushi's sleeping figure with teary eyes. He steps nearer on his toes not wanting to disturb his baby's sleep. He bends down on his knees and brushes her cheeks. A silent tear fall down his cheeks. He felt a turmoil inside of his heart. The feeling of losing her, the feeling to live a single moment without her... His love poured out through his tears.. the relief to know that she is safe and sleeping in bed in front of him.. He couldn't thank god enough. He leans towards her and pecks her lips. And he murmurs to himself..
"I LOVE YOU.. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH"
And he kisses her forehead before turning away. But suddenly his steps stop. He turns to find Khushi's hands holding his hands. He lifts his eyes towards her. Laying on the bed, Khushi stares into his teary eyes. Slowly she pulls him towards her till he gets on the bed next to her.. In the silent darkness, they look into each other's eyes.. They could hear each other's breath.. they could feel each other's breath.. Khushi breaks the trance and she crashes into his chest. Holding his shirt tightly, she cries her heart out. Arnav closes his eyes and passes his arms around her. Both their cheeks were wet.. He wishes to stop her from crying.. but how can he when his own tears are not stopping. They both experienced death.. Losing each other was no less than death.. In between her sobs, Arnav hears her few words swearing him of all names.
Khushi: Idiot! Stupid! Monkey! Dog!
A smile appears on his face while he places a kiss on her head.
Khushi: How dare you Arnav? How could you not tell me before.. Agar bina jaane mein marja...
(Khushi: How dare you Arnav? How could you not tell me before.. If without knowing I di..)
ASR: Kashish!
The sudden yelling of Arnav shocks her and she jerks off his embrace. Arnav glares at her angrily. She never sees this side of him. He was fuming like hell. He places his hands on her arms shaking her furiously.
ASR: Aisi baat phir si kabhi mat kehna.. samjhe tum!
(ASR: Don't ever say such thing again.. you understand!)
Khushi: Arnav mein to sirf...
(Khushi: Arnav I was just..)
ASR: Mein to sirf kya Kashish? Mujhe laga ke tum ab tak samaj gaya hoga ke mein tumse kitna pyar...
(ASR: I was just what Kashish? I thought that till you understand how I much I love...)
He closes his eyes in anger.
ASR: Forget it..
He gets off the bed and was walking away when Khushi hugs him from behind. She passes her hands under his arms gripping his chest tightly and lays her head on his shoulders.
Khushi: I'm sorry Arnav.. please don't leave me.. mein tumhare bina nahin rehsakte.. tum jitna chahe dato mujhe, but please mat jaoo.. jabse pyar samaj aya ek par bhi tumhare bina nahi jee sakta mein...
Khushi: I'm sorry Arnav.. please don't leave me.. I cannot stay without you.. scold me how much you want, but please don't go.. since I understand love I cannot live without you for a single moment..
He hears her sobs and instantly turns to her. He cupped her face and stares straight into her eyes..
ASR: Kyun Kashish? Kyun nahin jee sakta mere bina?
ASR: Why Kashish? Why can't you live without me?
He wanted to hear it again.. to hear that she loves him. Khushi looks at him.. her lips shivering. She had to say it again.. She admits to herself.. she told him before.. her eyes speaking it loudly.. but she had to take these words again.. and Arnav looking at her.. his eyes, the way he is holding her.. this is a promise from him that he is not going to leave her, Never! She closes her eyes and takes another breath and looked back into his eyes. She approaches and cups his face.
Khushi: Kyunki mein tumse pyar karta hoon.. I love you.. I love you like crazy.. I love you since I met you.. bas yeh pyar ko dher se samaj aaya mein.. I was late.. and stupid.. Mujhe laga agar jo mein tere bare mein feel karta hoon vo pyar hai, to sab kooch katam hojayega.. Wo chemistry, wo pagalpan.. Iss liye mein apne ap ko yeh yakin dilaya ke tum mere liye sirf dost hai aur kuch bhi nahin.. mein tumhe kona nahin chate te.. aur aaj jab yeh blast hua.. mein pagal ki tara tumhe dhoonraha ta.. mujhe laga sak kooch katam hua.. mein tumhare bina nahi ji sakta.. I can't live without you! I love you Arnav... Mujhe kashish ki life pasan hai, iss liye kyunki tum iss life mein hai..
Khushi: Because I love you.. I love you.. I love you like crazy.. I love you since I met you.. But I understand this love quite late.. I was late.. and stupid.. I though if what I feel for you is love then everything will end.. the chemistry, the craziness.. that's why I convinced myself that you are only my friend and nothing more.. I didn't want to lose you.. and when this blast happened.. I searched you like crazy.. I thought all is over.. I can't live without you! I love you Arnav... I like the life of Kashish because you are in this life..
ASR: Nahin!
ASR: No!
She was startled. She takes back her arms but to be pulled back by his hands.
ASR: Sirf kashish nahin.. mein tumhari har zindagi mein hain.. Kashish ya Khushi dono sirf mere naam joor sakta hai.. samjhe tum! Pagal ladki... Come here!
ASR: Not only Kashish.. I'm in your every life.. Kashish or Khushi only my name can be attached to both of you... You understand! Crazy girl.. Come here!
She smiled in between her sobs and crashes into his open arms.
ASR: I love you so much.. I love you so much my baby.. I'll never leave you.. kabhi nahi!

And they both get lost in their embrace.

But far away, in the study room...
Viren: No Di.. I know Khushi is injured. But... the engagement will happen day after tomorrow itself.
And Payal gives up to her stubborn brother.
